trips or excursions are journeys by students and teachers to a place outside their normal environment. The purpose of the trip is observation for educational purposes, non-experimental research or to provide students with experiences outside their daily activities, such as a visit to the Botanical Garden, Espa\u00e7o Ci\u00eancia, Forte das Cinco Pontas, a tour of the city rivers by catamaan, Francisco Brennand Archaeological Institute, among others. The aim of these researches is to observe the subject in its natural state and, eventually, collect samples. Currently, we hold \u201cClassroom Without Walls\u201d trips that help students deepen their understanding through experiential learning. Specific grade levels have taken trips to Fernando de Noronha and Chapada Diamantina to further extend their classroom knowledge in science &amp; social studies.
